ECG Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a full-time ECG Technician to perform remote monitoring of Implantable Cardiac Monitors (ICM).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote monitoring and interpretation of ECG and arrhythmias
• Manage patient data in manufacturer remote monitoring websites and enter data into the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients on compliance with symptom recording and monitor alerts for risk assessment

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience as an ECG Monitor Technician required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology related to arrhythmias
• Familiarity with manufacturer websites for Medtronic, Abbott, Biotronik, and Boston Scientific
