Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual ASL Interpreter for a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for students, parents, and staff during class sessions, meetings, and activities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other professionals to support students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate communication between Deaf or Hard of Hearing students and their peers
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) score of 3.5 or higher
- Minimum of 2 years performing ASL interpreting services
- Strong familiarity with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar)
- Professional Liability Insurance - Obtained upon offer
