Electrical Design Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Design Engineer - Studies (Arc Flash) to support Arc Flash Studies and modeling within the renewable energy markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system studies such as short circuit and arc flash using software tools like ETAP, EasyPower, SKM, and ArcPro
- Provide quality support to wind, solar, and BESS generator owners in system studies
- Utilize Python scripting to implement efficient processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience, with at least 1 year related to power systems
- Experience with EasyPower, ETAP, SKM, and/or ArcPro is preferred
- Experience with programming in Python is preferred
- EIT status or working towards EIT status
