Job Summary
A company is looking for an Energy Markets and Economic Impacts Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct national and regional energy economy modeling and analysis
- Evaluate the economic impacts of energy policies, regulations, and new technologies
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate analysis results to stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in energy economics, environmental economics, applied economics, or a related discipline
- 0-2 years of experience in economic modeling and analysis, particularly in the energy sector
- Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with empirical analysis techniques
- Understanding of micro and macro-economic theory models related to energy market analysis
- Experience with econometric analysis and optimization techniques is preferred
