Engineering Manager, CloudOps

Job Summary

Leading a scrum team of 4 to 6 engineers, the full-time remote Engineering Manager, CloudOps will oversee cloud infrastructure and operations, focusing on high-volume, low-latency bidder systems while driving performance improvements and cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support a scrum team, leading sprint planning and delivery commitments
• Oversee AWS-based cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance and reducing costs
• Lead engineering efforts on high-volume bidder software, ensuring system reliability and operational excellence

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields
• 1+ year of experience in an engineering management role or leading technical teams
• Strong experience operating production systems on AWS
• Practical understanding of cloud networking, load balancing, and incident response
• Ability to manage technical priorities across infrastructure and product delivery
