Job Summary

A company is looking for an Environmental Hazard Researcher (Flood Expert) to lead research on flooding in Iraq and Yemen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research on historical and geographical trends of flooding in Iraq and Yemen
  • Collect and analyze primary data from key informants in the field
  • Produce two concise reports on flooding, including graphics and photographs to support the narrative

Required Qualifications
  • Five or more years of experience in independent research using primary and secondary data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven track record of publications in English
  • Experience in collecting primary data and creating questionnaires
  • Experience working in the humanitarian or development aid sector
