Job Summary
A company is looking for an Environmental Hazard Researcher (Flood Expert) to lead research on flooding in Iraq and Yemen.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on historical and geographical trends of flooding in Iraq and Yemen
- Collect and analyze primary data from key informants in the field
- Produce two concise reports on flooding, including graphics and photographs to support the narrative
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in independent research using primary and secondary data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven track record of publications in English
- Experience in collecting primary data and creating questionnaires
- Experience working in the humanitarian or development aid sector
