Job Summary
To support US Eastern Time working hours, the independent contractor Executive Compensation Consultant will advise clients on executive compensation program design, benchmark compensation strategies, and produce analytical deliverables in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on the design of executive compensation programs, including base salary and incentive plans
- Develop compensation philosophy frameworks that align with business objectives and governance standards
- Conduct compensation risk assessments and guide clients through compensation design in various corporate contexts
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in executive compensation consulting, investment banking, or a related field
- JD, MBA, CPA, or equivalent expertise in tax/legal dimensions of executive pay
- Experience with technology, life sciences, or high-growth private company clients
- Deep knowledge of executive pay design across public and private/pre-IPO contexts
- Strong financial modeling skills and fluency with proxy data tools
