Expert Mainframe Systems Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Expert Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer to support the installation, testing, and implementation of z/OS operating systems and system software.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Mainframe Systems Infrastructure software, including z/OS and ISV products
- Handle incident, change, and problem resolution while contributing to technical projects
- Configure and customize z/OS components, including PARMLIB and JES2
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a mainframe environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced knowledge of z/OS installation and maintenance, including SMP/E
- Experience with Unix System Services (USS) and file system management
- Ability to perform complex ISV installations and lead projects
