Job Summary
A company is looking for a Field Application Engineer - Identity Reader Products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain smart card reader solutions for various applications
- Provide pre-sales technical support and assist customers in identifying suitable solutions
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of smart card readers to ensure reliability and security
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing roles with smart card readers and related technologies
- Familiarity with smart card reader protocols such as ISO/IEC 7816 and PC/SC standards
- Knowledge of multi-factor authentication, encryption, and secure communication protocols
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, SQL, and Java
