Financial Clearance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Clearance Specialist III - Authorizations Oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial clearance tasks including insurance validation, pre-certification, and patient cost estimates
• Coordinate and track referrals, authorizations, and scheduling with healthcare providers
• Assist management with denial issues and ensure accurate pre-registration of patients

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing and reimbursement analysis
• Proficient knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurances
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding systems (ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS)
• Basic working knowledge of UB04 and Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
