Job Summary
A company is looking for a Junior and Mid-Level Firewall Engineer to manage and secure firewall operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage firewalls including Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, and Checkpoint
- Develop and maintain security policies and rules in line with best practices
- Conduct regular system upgrades, patches, and performance monitoring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in firewall administration, specifically with Palo Alto, CISCO ASA, and Checkpoint products
- Thorough understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Proficient in documenting processes and procedures clearly and accurately
- Preferred certifications in Palo Alto, CISCO, Checkpoint, and/or CISSP
