FSC COC Manager

Job Summary

Supporting the development of the CBE timber and paper certification business, the full-time FSC COC Manager will ensure quality assurance for audits and provide technical support to affiliates in Western Europe and the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage communication with the Global Forestry Team to explore business development opportunities
• Coordinate technical reviews of COC reports and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
• Conduct training for COC auditors and support the hiring and training of new auditors

Required qualifications

• Tertiary education in Forest Management or Timber Engineering, or equivalent professional training and experience
• Must be an FSC COC Lead Auditor with relevant experience in the timber and/or paper industries
• Proven leadership skills and ability to drive change
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach
• Fluency in English, with developed presentation skills and the ability to interact with senior officials and management
