General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support monthly general ledger closing activities and year-end audit procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of trial balance
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and support financial reporting compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in general ledger accounting or related field
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Experience with financial management systems is preferred
