Government Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Government Security Analyst to support compliance with US Federal Government security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and establishing the government security program
• Implement and maintain compliance with NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP requirements
• Support incident response efforts for security matters related to government customers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of experience
• 2+ years of experience in the security field, ideally with exposure to federal government or DoD security processes
• Experience building and establishing a government security program
• Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or similar frameworks
• Basic understanding of Federal contracting processes
