Group Rating Supervisor

Job Summary

Overseeing the Group Rating Analysts, the full-time Supervisor Group Rating will manage daily rating operations, ensure adherence to guidelines, and facilitate communication with internal stakeholders while working remotely, hybrid, or onsite in Kansas or Missouri.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Group Rating Analysts, ensuring quality control, workflow management, and employee development
• Review and approve special rating situations to maintain accuracy and competitiveness in daily group rating activities
• Serve as a liaison between the Group Rating team and internal stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of four years of experience in group rating, underwriting, actuarial work, or health product sales within the health insurance industry
• Experience with health insurance contracts, rating systems, and alternative funding arrangements
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of health insurance rating techniques and regulatory compliance requirements, including ERISA and ACA
