Job Summary
A company is looking for a Head of Software Engineering to drive the success of their engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide thought leadership and mentoring to engineering teams, promoting innovation and continuous learning
- Build and own the software engineering roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and effective prioritization of work
- Foster a diverse and inclusive culture, championing psychological safety and encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Considerable experience managing multiple software delivery teams, including remote teams
- Proven experience in building and scaling a SaaS platform, particularly in fintech
- Strong background in software architecture activities, including microservices and cloud-native solutions
- Experience with continuous delivery, DevOps, and automated software testing in a commercial environment
- Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards in financial services
