Job Summary
A company is looking for a full-time Health Claims Specialist to manage insurance receivables for patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on filed claims with insurers to ensure timely collection
- Process insurance payments, patient payments, and account adjustments
- Research and resolve rejections, denials, and claims monitoring items
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of related work experience
- Strong aptitude for math and accounting
- Basic knowledge of medical coding, billing rules, and claims appeal process
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
