Job Summary
A company is looking for a Health Coach - Preventative Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist participants in creating individualized action plans to quit tobacco and/or vaping products through various communication methods
- Engage in 6-7 hours of daily phone, chat, or text interactions with participants in the Quit for Life Program
- Adapt coaching methods to meet the unique needs of each client based on their physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific requirements
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in health education, sociology, psychology, or a related field
- Basic proficiency in PC-based word processing and database documentation
- Prior experience in behavior change education, coaching/counseling, or health education
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods of delivering prevention intervention services
