Healthcare Collections Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Healthcare Collections Specialist to perform specialized collection work for clients to reduce outstanding accounts receivables.
Key Responsibilities
- Document accurate and up-to-date information in account history across multiple software systems while maintaining confidentiality
- Assist patients with payment arrangements and provide suggestions for resources to pay their medical accounts through inbound and outbound calls
- Collaborate with a virtual team to meet daily and monthly collection goals while adhering to compliance regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Preferred experience in collections
- Minimum of 6 months customer service experience
- Proficient PC knowledge with typing speed of 30-40 wpm
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
