Job Summary
A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to provide legal counsel on complex healthcare issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate various agreements including medical director and vendor contracts
- Provide legal support for accountable care organizations and population health programs
- Advise on federal and state regulatory requirements impacting healthcare operations
Required Qualifications
- Law degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Three to five years of legal experience in healthcare, preferably advising medical groups
- Admission to at least one state bar and in good standing
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law
- Experience with Medicare Advantage plans is a plus
