Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Employment Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of employment cases and assist with employment-related decision-making
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including severance agreements and demand letters
- Research and track legal developments and maintain compliance with employment laws
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in at least one state, preferably Illinois or New York
- 2+ years of experience in employment law
- Previous in-house experience preferred
