Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual School Social Worker for the 2024/2025 school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide virtual social work services, including counseling and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with educators and parents to implement individualized support plans
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Qualifications
- Licensed as a School Social Worker in Illinois
- Must possess the PEL (Professional Educators License)
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Previous experience as a School Social Worker preferred
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and school-related issues
