Job Summary
A company is looking for an Income Specialist to review loan applications and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review borrower income and asset documentation to ensure compliance with lending guidelines
- Communicate calculations and assessments to pre-qualify applicants effectively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in lending guidelines and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry experience as a loan officer, processor, or underwriter
- Proficiency with Encompass, Desktop Underwriter, and AllRegs
- Knowledge of conventional and government lending guidelines
- NMLS License under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 preferred
