Information Security Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to, remediate, and document network security-related alerts and issues
• Develop and maintain written procedures for firewall maintenance
• Verify and validate security notifications from internal and external sources

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Understanding of technical documentation and network technologies
• Solid knowledge of information security fundamentals and risk management concepts
• Possession or pursuit of relevant professional certifications
• Ability to obtain a GSA Public Trust suitability
