Ingredient Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Ingredient Category Manager to oversee ingredient procurement and supplier relationships for seafood products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ingredient programs ensuring traceable supply chains and ethical supplier practices
• Procure various ingredients for product development while ensuring compliance with food safety and nutritional standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to meet production needs and maintain inventory levels

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, purchasing, or sustainable food systems
• Experience in procurement of seafood, spices, oils, produce, grains, dairy, and packaging
• Proven ability to manage sustainability practices and balance cost with ethical sourcing
• Proficiency in Google Suite, particularly Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience working with remote teams and adapting to new systems
