Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Specialist to ensure proper billing and reimbursement of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments
  • Manage follow-up and appeals resolution processes
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff

Required Qualifications
  • Two years post high school education or AA degree preferred
  • Related health care or insurance industry experience
  • Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years patient accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
