Interaction Designer

Job Summary

Designing detailed interaction models for AI-driven workflows, the full-time remote Interaction Designer will focus on creating user input mechanisms, feedback systems, and controls that enhance user agency in AI interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design interaction models for initiating, monitoring, and completing multi-step tasks in AI-driven flows
• Define interaction states for AI interfaces, including idle, thinking, acting, and failed states
• Create detailed interaction specifications and prototypes for engineering handoff while collaborating with product and ML teams

Required qualifications

• Experience as an interaction designer or senior UX designer with a strong focus on interaction design
• Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma or equivalent
• Strong understanding of HCI principles, including user control and feedback
• Ability to systematically map complex AI behavior into coherent user-facing interaction logic
• Experience collaborating closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
