A company is looking for an Investigator for the Special Investigation Unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance audits and investigations related to fraudulent billing and coding practices
• Coordinate recovery of overpayments and facilitate corrective actions with relevant parties
• Provide education on healthcare compliance and fraud prevention to staff and providers

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of coding experience in a healthcare setting
• 2+ years of fraud and abuse audit experience
• Project management and education program development experience
• Experience with data mining software/tools
