IT Asset Management Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IT Asset Management Specialist to manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Define controls, processes, and procedures for effective software asset management
- Monitor software usage and licenses to ensure compliance with agreements and regulations
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software licensing non-compliance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
- Expertise in IT asset management, software usage rights, and contractual terms
- Mastery of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Costpoint, and ServiceNow SAMPro
- Strong knowledge of IT asset management practices, including license remediation, reconciliation, and harvesting
- Preference for candidates with ServiceNow SAMPro certification or IAITAM Asset Management certification
