Jumbo Non-QM Underwriter
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Jumbo/Non-QM Underwriter to execute underwriting based on company policy and standards for the West Coast market.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite Jumbo/Non-QM loans and manage 45+ initial underwrites per month
- Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status
- Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and maintain a conversation log in Byte
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of specific underwriting experience, including Jumbo and Non-QM loans
- Recent experience underwriting Conventional loans
- Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input and ability to interpret findings
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
