Junior Software Developer
Job Summary
Supporting software application development in a remote full-time capacity, the Junior Software Developer will design, code, test, and document technical solutions while collaborating with technical leads and participating in Agile events.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for NAVSEA enterprise systems
- Collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity teams to ensure security compliance and system reliability
- Debug and fix issues in code under the supervision of senior staff while participating in design sessions and sprint planning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or a high school degree with ten years of relevant experience
- 0-2 years of software development experience
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python
- Familiarity with Git, SQL, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- U.S. Citizenship and Active DoD SECRET Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one
