Job Summary
A company is looking for a Part Time Lab Assistant (20-25 hrs/week).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare LB/TB media, antibiotics, and other common reagents
- Organize and maintain glassware, including washing and autoclave activities
- Aliquot and label DNA samples, and store samples using custom tracking software
Required Qualifications and Education
- Certificate in Biotechnology or related field recommended
- Bachelor's or AAS Degree or equivalent lab work experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of aseptic techniques required
- Self-motivated and organized, able to work independently
- Initiative and interest in process improvement strongly desired
