Lead Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Application Security Engineer to champion the security of their applications across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and scale application security processes, focusing on Snyk for SAST and SCA
- Collaborate with teams to design secure applications and conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
- Establish security standards and assist with incident response related to application security
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- 7+ years of relevant experience in application security or a related field
- Experience with Snyk or similar SAST/SCA tools
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, preferably AWS, and securing microservices
- Solid programming skills for secure code analysis, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
