Lead Application Security Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Application Security Engineer to ensure the security of software systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop secure coding and design principles and train teams on secure practices
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Application Security and guide Engineering and Product teams
- Implement and configure application security technologies and conduct risk assessments of vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, cybersecurity, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in security or infrastructure engineering
- Thorough understanding of modern software development practices and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
- Experience in deploying application security technologies such as SAST, DAST, and IAST
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and containerization technologies is a plus
