Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to upgrade and modernize nuclear power plants with advanced control technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support controls projects, ensuring technical execution and effective project management
- Prepare control system functional requirements and procurement specifications for nuclear plants
- Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project execution and compliance with specifications
Required Qualifications and Education
- BS or MS in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 12 or more years of experience in instrumentation and controls systems design for commercial applications
- Professional Engineering license is preferred
- Experience in reviewing design documentation and serving as a client liaison
- Technically knowledgeable about available equipment and pre-engineered systems
