Licensed Commercial Counsel (US)
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Associate Commercial Counsel (US) to support its legal department in SaaS resale and referral operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and amendments with software reseller and referral partners
- Provide advice on risks and suitability of contracts to achieve company goals
- Verify and update contract templates to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited school and bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction or equivalent education in Canada
- 3-5 years of relevant SaaS in-house or law firm experience
- Familiarity with technology and software-related concepts, particularly SaaS and software reseller agreements
- Results-driven with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Understanding of the B2B payments industry is a plus
