Job Summary
A company is looking for a Product Counsel to assist their team on a full-time contract basis for an initial 12-month term.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering teams throughout software product and cloud service life cycles
- Review, draft, and negotiate technology agreements related to the company's product portfolio
- Perform due diligence to ensure compliance with third-party agreements, open source licenses, and government regulations
Required Qualifications
- 6-7 years of law firm and/or in-house experience, with at least 4 years on relevant product matters
- Strong understanding of cloud service offerings and multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Expertise in intellectual property, open source issues, and information security
- Sound legal and business judgment, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal clients
- Licensed lawyer in good standing in the jurisdiction where you work and reside
