Job Summary
A company is looking for a Linux Administrator/Engineer with Splunk or comparable SIEM experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain logging systems like Splunk Connect for Syslog using automation tools
- Monitor system performance and recommend configuration changes for improvement
- Act as a liaison for Splunk-related technical issues and support data ingestion infrastructure
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or GED; technical bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 1 year in Splunk or comparable SIEM tools
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Linux system administration experience, with Red Hat Enterprise Linux certification preferred
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire
