Linux Systems Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Linux Systems Engineer responsible for developing, designing, and deploying production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and drive them to completion
- Support and maintain critical services such as Samba, DNS/DHCP, and Apache/nginx
- Provide after-hours support during critical or user-impacting outages
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering experience with core Linux services
- Expert level scripting experience with Python
- Expert level in Configuration Management and Orchestration with Ansible
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems like RedHat and CentOS
- High School diploma required; ITIL Foundations Certification desired
