Job Summary
A company is looking for a Mainframe Application Modernization SME.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for mainframe applications
- Document, unit-test, and prepare components for integration into final products
- Provide work estimates and guide features and technologies for development
Required Qualifications
- Over 10 years of mainframe experience
- Expertise in Mainframe/COBOL/Batch and either CICS or IMS
- Experience in migrating COBOL applications or performing COBOL version upgrades
- Familiarity with BMC and/or Broadcom IBM Z suites
- Exposure to Unix on zOS or Linux and modernization experience with rehost or refactor tools
