Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of Professional Billing & Revenue Cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the Professional Billing Office and designated departments to ensure service levels are met
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and manage implementation of standards to enhance revenue cycle performance
- Monitor revenue cycle metrics and facilitate meetings with department leaders to discuss trends and improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a Healthcare-related field
- 5-7 years of related experience in professional billing functions, preferably in an academic medical center
- 3-5 years of experience with Epic systems preferred
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle functions, including coding and billing guidelines
- Experience in auditing and training on revenue cycle regulations and concepts
