Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement small business underwriting strategies in collaboration with product/business owners
  • Analyze and interpret business results to formulate recommendations for growth and profit challenges
  • Oversee workers compensation new business quality assurance process and provide recommendations for underwriting rule adjustments

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years of Commercial P&C insurance industry underwriting, actuary, claim, or product development experience
  • Strong analytical ability and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, plan, and collaborate across multiple disciplines
  • Ability to make sound contributions to tactical and strategic planning
