Medical Biller and Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Biller and Coder to join their Revenue Cycle Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient claims for accuracy and completeness, obtaining missing payer information as needed
• Appeal medical insurance claim denials in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with procedures and coding guidelines while communicating with clinical leadership

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Associate degree in business, finance, health administration, or a related field preferred
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required
• 2+ years of experience in a primary care clinic setting preferred
• Mental/behavioral health experience is a plus
• Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software
