Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder to assist customers in auditing and validating medical coding for compliance and billing purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical coding and abstracting of patient encounters
- Review medical records to ensure accurate coding for reimbursement
- Analyze documentation for discrepancies and compliance with coding regulations
Required Qualifications
- MEDITECH experience required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Certification requirement: CPC, CIC, CCS, or COC
- 1+ years of medical coding experience
- Hospital coding experience
