Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Coding Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tactical direction to the coding team and implement process improvement plans
- Ensure completion of reports, special projects, and Athena testing
- Collaborate with compliance coding auditor to design and implement coding education programs
Qualifications:
- High School Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of coding experience, outpatient experience a plus
- Must possess one of the following coding credentials: CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
- Experience in multiple specialties including Pediatrics, E&M, and Behavioral Health
- Experience in billing and claims submission is a plus
