Medical Director
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Director (Remote) to lead a team of UM RN Analysts for their Auth AI platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and input to the clinical team throughout the product development process
- Ensure effective flow of tasks related to medical policy creation and validation
- Serve as a clinical liaison to medical policy teams at current customers
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO with at least 8 years of clinical experience
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle roles, including Utilization Management
- Experience working with healthcare information technology and cross-functional teams is preferred
- Deep knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and relevant regulations
- Experience with payer medical policy teams and peer-to-peer conversations is a plus
