Job Summary
A company is looking for a Medical Director, UM - Therapy Reviews - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct coverage reviews for musculoskeletal and other medical/surgical services
- Document clinical review findings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with clinical staff and providers for accurate benefit determinations
Required Qualifications
- Current, active, and unrestricted medical license
- Board Certification in an ABMS specialty (e.g., Family Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery)
- 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
- Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
- Proficient with MS Office applications
