Job Summary
A company is looking for a Customer Service Representative in the Medicare Pharmacy Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and record inbound pharmacy calls from members, providers, and pharmacies
- Process pharmacy prior authorization requests and appeals
- Communicate plan benefit information effectively to members and providers
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of call center or customer service experience
- Preferred: Associate degree
- Preferred: 3-5 years of healthcare industry experience
- Preferred: National pharmacy technician certification
