Mid-Level Software Engineer with Security Clearance
Job Summary
Supporting mission-focused software capabilities, the full-time Mid-Level Software Engineer with Security Clearance will develop and enhance applications and data pipelines while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the research, development, and sustainment of software applications, backend services, and data processing workflows
- Support data scientists by creating and refining software applications, troubleshooting defects, and improving performance
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation to deliver reliable capabilities in an agile setting
Required qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. citizen with a current Top Secret security clearance and/or CBP/DHS suitability
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of professional experience in programming, design, or development
- Experience with strongly-typed programming languages such as Java or Rust, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with agile software development practices and tools, including Jira and git
