Key Responsibilities:

Select and sequence diagnostic codes for specific patient types
Analyze facility records to ensure accurate coding
Abstract clinical data to support diagnoses and procedures

Required Qualifications:

Active AHIMA or AAPC coding credential
Two years of recent hands-on coding experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and code sets
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
Associate degree in HIM or healthcare-related field preferred
